Privacy Policy
This page explains what happens to information when you use thewealthpost.site. It is written in plain sentences because a privacy policy nobody can read protects nobody.
Effective 20 August 2026
The short version: we do not ask you to register, we do not run a newsletter, we do not sell data, and the calculators on this site never send your figures anywhere. What we do have is ordinary web analytics and advertising, and both of those involve third parties who set cookies. Those are named below, with the links that let you turn them off.
Who is responsible
The Wealth Post operates thewealthpost.site. For any question about this policy or about information held about you, write to alexhales2209405@gmail.com. A person reads that inbox.
What we collect directly
Almost nothing, because there is almost nothing to collect.
- No accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, no profile and no password on this site.
- No mailing list. We do not operate one, so there is no email address to store.
- No forms. The contact page gives you an email address rather than a form. If you write to us, we hold that email for as long as it takes to answer you, and then delete it. It is never added to a list or shared with an advertiser.
- Calculator inputs are never transmitted. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The balances, rates and premiums you type are not sent to our servers, are not logged, and are gone when you close the tab.
What is collected automatically
Like every website, ours is served by infrastructure that records technical request data: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and a timestamp. This is used to keep the site working, diagnose errors and understand which guides are read. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not sold.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes this request data as our hosting provider and retains it for a limited period for operational and security purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no cookies of its own for tracking or advertising. Cookies you may encounter here are set by the third parties named in the next section. The cookie policy sets out the categories in more detail, including how to clear or block them in each major browser.
Advertising, including Google AdSense
This site is supported by advertising. Where advertising is served through Google, the following applies and it is worth reading rather than skimming:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Opting out does not remove advertising; it makes the advertising you see less relevant.
- You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.
- Google’s own handling of this data is governed by the Google privacy and terms for partner sites.
We do not receive the personal data these vendors collect, and we cannot see who you are from it. What we receive is aggregate performance reporting.
Affiliate links
Some guides contain affiliate links. If you follow one and apply for a product, the provider may pay us a commission at no cost to you, and the link may pass a referral identifier so the provider knows the visit came from here. That identifier identifies this site, not you. Where the provider then collects your information, their privacy policy governs it, not this one.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to see which guides are read and where readers leave. We do not attempt to identify individual readers, we do not run cross-site tracking pixels for our own purposes, and we do not sell or share analytics data with anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent. In practice, because we hold so little, most requests here resolve quickly: unless you have emailed us, we are unlikely to hold anything about you at all.
- If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR): our lawful bases are legitimate interests for operating and securing the site, and consent for personalised advertising cookies where consent is required. You may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
- If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell personal information for money. You have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, which is done through the ad settings links above. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises those rights.
To make a request, email alexhales2209405@gmail.com with enough detail for us to act on it. Please do not send account numbers, dates of birth or copies of documents. See contact for why.
Children
This site is written for adults making financial decisions and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and it will be deleted.
Data security and retention
The site is served over HTTPS. Emails sent to us are held only as long as needed to answer them. We keep no database of readers, which is the most effective security measure available: there is nothing to breach.
External links
We link out to lenders, insurers, regulators and government sources. Once you follow a link away from this site, this policy stops applying and theirs begins. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, including those of advertisers.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it and the substance of the change is described here rather than absorbed silently. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.
Get in touch
Corrections take priority over everything else in the inbox. If a figure on this site is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed with a note saying what changed.
